The Mauboussin Style down the ages

From 1980 to 2000: Bringing jewellery into the modern age.

In the 80s, Mauboussin became close to the Sultan of Brunei who regularly placed many orders. A new style was born out of this collaboration: a baroque style where creation became synonymous with power and freedom. Amplitude of form and swirling movement remained ever-present features.

From 2000 to 2015: A universal language of emotion founded on truth.

In the 2000s, attention was no longer on singing the praises of sacrosanct jewellery. Few saw the point in creating jewellery which would only be warn all too rarely. From this point, Mauboussin wished to open up the world of jewellery by creating collections that followed contemporary trends, collections that a wider public could aspire to own.

Independent house belonging to Dominique Fremont and chaired/managed by Alain Némarq since 2002. In 2002, with the arrival of Alain Némarq as CEO, Mauboussin underwent radical change, a genuine revolution.
